Forever Sports Online – Arsenal has pulled off a major coup by securing a deal to sign 15-year-old Northern Ireland sensation Ceadach O’Neill, beating out several Premier League rivals in the process.
O’Neill, who made his senior debut for Linfield in November, caught the eye of many top clubs with his impressive skills on the pitch. The Northern Ireland Under-15s international recently showcased his talent for Arsenal’s Under-17 side at the Flamengo Adidas Cup in Brazil, playing in four games against top competition.
Arsenal is confident that O’Neill will excel in their academy and become a valuable asset to their youth set up. This signing follows closely on the heels of their recent acquisition of Brayden Clarke from Wolves.
O’Neill is now the second Linfield youngster to secure a move to a Premier League side, following in the footsteps of Braiden Graham who has agreed terms with Everton.
Both O’Neill and Graham are currently with the Northern Ireland Under-17 squad for the Euro 2024 Elite round qualifiers, further highlighting their potential on the international stage.
