Manchester United Announces Executive Changes Under New Co-Owner Jim Ratcliffe
Manchester United has revealed further changes in its executive structure following the recent investment by new co-owner Jim Ratcliffe’s company, INEOS. Interim CEO Patrick Stewart and CFO Cliff Baty will be stepping down at the end of the season by mutual consent.
Jean-Claude Blanc will take over as chief executive until Omar Berrada assumes the role on July 13th. Baty will be replaced by Roger Bell, the former INEOS Sport CFO. Ratcliffe expressed his gratitude towards Stewart and Baty for their support during the transition to the new management team.
The INEOS investment has brought about significant changes at the club, including the departure of the former CEO and football director. Ratcliffe is set to assume control of United’s soccer operations with his investment. The INEOS director of sport and Blanc will also join United’s board.
Furthermore, former City academy director Jason Wilcox has been appointed as the technical director for United. These changes mark a new era for the club under Ratcliffe’s ownership, with a focus on restructuring the leadership team to drive success on and off the pitch.
